Here is my take on the layout sketch. Our strange product of this month was nail polish. I used nail polish to color my title and stars.

Here is my take on our challenge for this month. I really loved this picture and finally found a way to scrapbook it that made it a major focus of the layout!!! Can't wait to see what you ladies come up with. :)

The Club members take on Challenge #1Karen's Take: I love how she used an entire phrase from the song mixing up large and small text.
Kim's take: I really enjoyed her use of crayons in the large circle in the center.

You all may want to bring a camera and a notebook. Last week I know you ladies enjoyed photographing my take on the layout as well as taking notes on the techniques I shared. But, of course this is just a suggestion.

What Is Club 1 2 3 ?????

Club 1 2 3 is a club designed to challenge scrapbookers to take their projects and pages to the next level. Each challenge will include:

1 song (use any of the lyrics form the song as part of your title)

2 sketches (to base your layout off of..and they will be original to the club)

3 products (to incorporate into your page or project)

At the Scrapbook Store in Greenfield, Wisconsin there will be monthly meetings for us to share and work on our club projects. You will have the opportunity to purchase a kit for the club that will include:

1 lyric sheet and CD with the song on it to help you find the right words to use. (Plus, won't it be fun to be able to listen to the song while you work on it?)

1 copy of each sketch

3 products

Plus every once and a while there will be bonus items in your kits for you to use on any projects or maybe a DVD of a great new technique.

If you are unable to attend the monthly crop you are still able to purchase the kits so you can play along on the blog.( I am currently working out a way for you to purchase them online) Every month we will have a gallery were club members can showcase their take on that months challenge. You never know when there may be a a drawing or a give away of extra goodies!

So play along. Won't this be fun!
